Reclaimed Half Whisky Barrel Planter – Large Freestanding Oak Garden Planter

Bring authentic whisky barrel character to your garden with our Large Reclaimed Half Whisky Barrel Planter.

Made from a genuine reclaimed oak whisky barrel, this substantial freestanding planter combines traditional craftsmanship with a practical flat-back design. The barrel is vertically cut in half and finished with a wooden back, allowing it to sit neatly against a wall, fence, patio edge or garden boundary while remaining completely freestanding.

🌿 GENUINE RECLAIMED WHISKY BARREL

Each planter is made using a genuine reclaimed whisky barrel, retaining the original oak staves, natural ageing and traditional metal hoops. Every barrel has its own individual grain, colouring, markings and weathered character.

🌸 LARGE PLANTING SPACE

The generous planting area is ideal for creating impressive displays with flowers, shrubs, ornamental grasses, herbs and trailing plants. Cascading varieties such as ivy look particularly attractive against the curved barrel front.

🏡 FREESTANDING FLAT-BACK DESIGN

Unlike a conventional round barrel planter, this design has a flat wooden back. It can be positioned neatly against walls, fences, entrances and other garden features without taking up the space of a complete barrel.

No wall mounting is required.

🌳 NATURAL RECLAIMED OAK

As this is a genuine reclaimed product, no two planters will be exactly the same. Natural variations may include differences in wood colour, grain, staining, previous barrel markings, weathering and the appearance of the metal hoops.

These variations are part of the authentic character of reclaimed whisky barrels and make every planter unique.
